RIGHT OF ADMISSION RESERVED

CANCELLATION POLICY
No-Shows and Cancellation within 2 weeks of check-in100% of total booking charge forfeited Cancellation between3-2 weeks of check-in 75% of total booking charge forfeited Cancellation betwen 4-3 weeks of check-in 50% of total booking charge forfeited Cancellation more than 4 weeks away from check-in 25 %

Kindly note that where any booking payments received carry bank charges payable by The Crescent Guesthouse, those bank charges will be deducted from any applicable refunds, this could be anywhere up to 5% of the total booking payment received.

PAYMENT TERMS
Payment for entire booking to be paid on booking.
Where a deposit is allowed , payment must be made in full by 1 month prior to arrival date.
We accept card payments.
We accept bank transfers.
We are not Vat vendours.

IDENTIFICATION
Kindly note on check-in that it is a legal requirement to supply proof and a copy of identification of the guest.

CARD/PAYMENT METHOD VERIFICATION
Also note that for all payments made by card prior to check-in that the card used to make the payment will need to be checked for validation of the owner of the card at check-in.

Kindly note should the payment card not belong to the arriving guest/s then we will require the following BEFORE check-in.
a) letter of authorisation by the card owner stipulating that The Crescent Guesthouse may charge the card for the amount for the accomodation as stipulated by us.
b) copy of the id of the card owner.
c) copy of the card.
Also note we dont have to take a copy of the card but we do have to look at the card and make sure it belongs to the arriving guest and is the same card details we uses to transact the payment.

CLASHED BOOKINGS
Should we not be able to honour a booking due to bookings taking place by other guests on different websites at the same time as your booking process etc or happening between when you receive the quote and when you confirm by payment (ie clashed booking) we reserve the right to place your accomdation with an alternative (outsourced) accomodation venue.

OUTSOURCED PROPERTIES
Outsourced properties are contracted between the guest and the respective property owner and The Crescent Guest House (TCGH) act as booking agents only and is not liable for any loss, damage,accident,delay or inconvenience caused by the principal/property owner.
TCGH reserves the right to mark-up the price from that advertised by the outsourced property to a rate that is suitable to that of TCGH includes a sourcing fee and market demand related mark ups.

In addition to any cancellation fee that may be payable above, 15% of the total quote price (vat excl) will be charged as an admin fee for processing cancellations.

RATES
Bed & Breakfast rates includes breakfast.
Breakfast is available for self catering guests at R90 per person arranged in advance.
Rates are subject to change without notice.
Special rates are available for special arrangement/ requests or long stays Weekend, weekly and monthly rates can be negotiated on application.
Please enquire.
Season and long weekend and public holiday rates are 30% higher than rack rates World cup /Big Event rates are from 2-3x normal rates Refundable Damages deposit of R300 applicable on all bookings refundable if no losses/ damages incurred by us.

CHILD POLICY AND RATES
Children are only allowed in self catering unit options.
2 children under the age of 5 years are are allowed free by sharing adult beds.
Children above 5 are considered a single bed occupant.

CHECK-IN GUEST DETAILS
All guests name and guest group individual names are to be provided on booking and check in.
Should the booker not be arriving at the guesthouse kindly advise names of guests arriving for the booking in advance of the arrival date so the the availability is correctly allocated and honoured.
Management accepts no responsibility for any lack of room allocation or misallocation arising out of names of respective guests not being supplied to the guesthouse at the time of making the booking nor any loss as a result thereof.

CHECK IN CHECK OUT
B&B check-in time is between 12pm midday and 20:00 Any anticipated late arrival should please be pre-arranged and may attract an additional charge of R200

Check-out time is no later than 11am on the day of departure, after which an additional day's rate may be Levied.

ROOM CLEANING SERVICE
Bedrooms and Self catering units are serviced every 3 days BUT only with prior arrangment AND at an extra charge.
Kindly ask for a room cleaning requesition (forms) at least one night before the servicing is needed.
Management and staff will not be held responsible for any loss or theft during servicing therefore its advisable to take any necessary precaution to safeguard your valuables.

LATE CHECK IN

Checkin after 20:00 is permitted only with prior arrangement and may attract an additional fee of R200

TOWELS
Please bring your own towels if you have booked a self catering unit as towels are not provided to self catering unit options.

DISCLAIMER
The guest hereby agrees on behalf of himself and the members of his party that it is a condition of his/their occupation of the Crescent guesthouse that the Crescent Guesthouse shall not be responsible for any injury to, or death of, any person or the destruction of or loss of damage to any property on the premises, whether arising from fire, theft or any cause, and by whomsoever caused or arising from the negligence (gross or otherwise) or wrongful acts of any person in the employment of the Crescent Guesthouse.

The Guest also hereby agrees to secure his valuable and to take all reasonable measures to ensure the unit he/she has booked into is locked to aid and ensure the safety of his person and possesions wether the unit booked is a room or a self contained apartment or a unit in which several rooms are shared amongst different guests

VISITORS
No visitors are allowed on the property without prior arrangements with management in writing specifying numbers of visitors and names of visitors. Management reserves the right to charge for visitors up to the full overnight rate for visitors found on the property without approval at any time

TCGH ACCESS to UNITS
TCGH management reserves the right to gain entry to the hired unit at anytime should the need arise for the purposes of repairs, maintenance, safety, security , emergencies etc and to asses any behaviour giving rise to a suspicion or otherwise of, disturbance, illegal activity, unrest nuisance, etc
